I've Finally Got One!
My patience paid off and after waiting five weeks outside the Mag Mile Apple Store I got my own iPhone. I'm very happy with it and despite the steep price ($599) and the awful AT&T network, and the lack of a Sim card and the inability to take videos and numerous other missing features that are standard in many other phones, I'm glad to be a part of the Steve Jobs adoration club. Here's just a few photos of my new baby: ![]() ![]() Labels: Apple, happy, iPhone, technology Share on Facebook 1 comments Sunday, November 13, 2005
My Dream Machine My Dream Machine"Please, please, I've been "so" good this past year." So what if it only costs $120,000? It is the archivist's wet dream. When we win the lottery this is one of the first things I'm buying. The APT BookScan 1200™ automagically scans up to 1200 pages per hour of bound books and other documents. This is twelve times faster than a room full of Chinese prison labourers. Feel free to order one on my behalf ...
